HQ & Hubs
Locations
We have our own suite of rooms based in the old maternity home, Mary Stevens Centre. Which is at the end of the drive where Mary Stevens Hospice is in Oldswinford Stourbridge.
The centre is just for charities. Held by the Edgar Stevens Trust. We have completely revamped it to reflect the quality of what our makers create for the community.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get the address of a Hub?
We do not put full addresses on our group pages, but if you message the Hub manager or Trustees, they will private message you the details.
Can I use any Hub?
Yes, you can. We will tell you which is the closest, if you are not sure. But there maybe one that is more convenient for you. And that’s fine.
What is in the Hubs?
All Hubs have a choice of the current items that we are making. Mini Hubs may not have the full range, but will have a choice. The kits contain everything you need to make the item. Hubs also contain wool for knitting and crochet, plus fabric / felt and fleece for making items that are not kits. When are Hubs open? The Hubs boxes are outside our homes, so are always open within reasonable hours.
Do I have to tell the Hub Manager I’m coming?
If you do not need help, then you can just go to the Hub. If you have requested items from the weekly request thread, they will be in the Hub box by late Friday afternoon for the week requested. The bag will have your name on with your item(s) enclosed. If you would like some help, please message the Hub manager in advance, to arrange a mutually convenient day and time.
Can I return finished items to Hubs?
Finished items can be returned to any Hub, and the manager will get them to where they need to be.
What do I have to do when I go to a Hub?
You will either be collecting something you have asked for, which will be labelled for you, or you are welcome to choose what is in the Hub. Please do not take anyone else’s named bag.
If I still have a question, who do I ask?
We are a friendly lot, so you can message any of the Hub managers or Trustees, or ask in the group, and somebody will always help. We have many talented sewers, knitters and crocheters, plus makers of all descriptions, in the group, who will help with any making questions. If you are unsure who to ask, message Colleen, who will know someone who knows the answer.
Thank you for joining us, and for making a difference.
